Job Specific Working Conditions
Young Life in the Western Great Lakes Region is seeking an Associate Regional Director (full or part-time) to join our collaborative leadership team. This role will supervise six areas with the potential of more area startups within the region. Ministry in these six areas includes high school, middle school, YoungLives, and Capernaum. The ideal candidate will have passion for every kind of kid, be a champion of innovation, collaboration, healthy supervision, and have a heart rooted in Christ.
Personal fundraising is expected for this position; Personal Donor Development Training provided.
Associate Regional Director
Summary
Represent the regional office in carrying out the regional function to ensure good Young Life ministry in that region. As well as knowing and upholding all Young Life policies and procedures.
Ministry Functions
Spiritual Development – “following Jesus.” Includes: Prayer and spiritual disciplines, fellowship, growth and health and church relationships
Leadership Development – “Equipping leaders, committee and staff.” Includes: Key volunteer care, recruiting, teambuilding and training, supervision and vision casting.
Resource Development – “fueling the ministry.” Includes events, major donor care, public relations (branding) and TDS team.
Direct Ministry – “Proclaiming and discipling.” Includes contact work, club, campaigners and camp.
Ministry Support – “Taking care of business” Accounting, administration, communication (internal), data management and strategic plan.
