Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Mabank, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to perform basic inventory tasks, receiving and shipping items to support production. The role is onsite and requires reliability and teamwork.

You will learn to use forklifts, waves, and the LN system while participating in cycle counting and floor stock duties. This is an entry-level position with room to grow through hands-on training. Previous exposure to warehouse procedures is valued; prior turbine manufacturing experience is

• Picking items to support floor production or commissioning orders.

Complete low-level assignments related to receiving, picking, and shipping inventory. Applies knowledge of warehouse procedures to support more experienced team members. In turn, acquire additional skills and knowledge about the inbound, outbound, cycle counting, and floor stock roles.

• Applies basic warehouse knowledge to execute tasks, assist higher level technicians, participate in team assignments to receive and ship parts to support production and the customer.
• Works under close supervision using verbal instructions and as guidance.
• Learns to use forklifts, waves, scanners, and other warehouse equipment as well as the LN system.

Assignments could include (but are not limited to) any of the following activities:

• Receiving items externally shipped to Mabank. Unloading trucks and storing material in the warehouse

Summary Pay Range:

$45,809.00 - $68,713.00
