Job summary

Electronic Arts in Orlando is seeking an Associate Quality Designer to join the Quality Verification team. The AQD role tests, documents, and analyzes game features during production, aligning with quality processes and best practices.

You will collaborate with leadership to ensure end-to-end coverage and an outstanding player experience. Located in Orlando with a hybrid work model, the role requires deep knowledge of American football, strong testing methodology, and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent QA experience) with an understanding of Agile/Scrum and software development lifecycles.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking software (Jira) and QA planning tools.
  • Skilled in writing comprehensive test plans and cases using black, gray, and white box testing.
  • Deep knowledge of American/College Football and familiarity with the College Football video game series.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills to report testing progress to team members and management.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships across development, production, and design teams to promote high-quality player experiences.
  • Propose solutions to problems from senior leadership.
  • Oversee end-to-end quality strategy, test plans, and test cases.
  • Identify automation opportunities and technical solutions.
  • Leverage testing tools and AI to inform testing strategies and optimize coverage.
  • Drive improvements and knowledge sharing across sports QV teams.
