Job summary

Electronic Arts is seeking a Sr. QA Tester for the Quality Verification Team, embedded with the College Football game project, collaborating with producers, engineers, artists and designers to test and analyze the product.

This temporary 12-month contract is based in Orlando and focuses on delivering high quality player experiences. Responsibilities include building relationships with cross-functional teams, identifying bugs, and championing quality through thorough test strategy and

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent industry experience in an embedded environment.
Experience with testing and defect tracking software, preferably Jira.
Experience writing test documentation including test cases, test plans, etc.
Experience with different gaming platforms
Understanding of white/gray/black box testing practices
Knowledge of software development methodology and stages (milestones/sprints, Alpha, Beta)
Strong knowledge of American Football, preferably College Football and/or strong knowledge of the game College Football 26

Responsibilities

Build working relationships with development, production, and design teams to find bugs and identify opportunities to improve quality.
Consider the game from a player's perspective to identify ways to improve the player experience.
Communicate testing progress and status clearly to managers and team members in English.
Use a Player First approach while thinking about the Quality our players receive.
