What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Support negotiations with assigned contracts and letters of agreements with non-complex providers
2. Maintain a tracking system and publish reports according to departmental procedures
3. Answer calls from prospective providers regarding the contracting process, policies, and procedures
4. Ensure accuracy and completeness of provider demographic information and coordinate communication with the Provider Configuration team
5. Send out new provider welcome packets to contracted providers

What is Required (Qualifications):

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service, provider service, contracting, or claims experience in the healthcare industry
• Strong knowledge of contracting processes and policies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in database management and reporting

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Managed care experience
