Job summary

Gene B. Glick Company is seeking a Property Manager to oversee vacancies across multiple properties in the Indianapolis area. You will manage leasing, move-ins/outs, certifications, and renewals while ensuring compliance with HUD and Fair Housing regulations.

The role requires 2–4 years of property management experience, strong marketing/administrative skills, and willingness to travel as needed. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, with a family-oriented workplace and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 2-4 years of progressively responsible experience in the management of residential or commercial facilities as Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Experience with affordable program, if applicable to the hiring property: Conventional/Market, Section 8 Family, Section 8 Elderly, Tax Credit, RAD, Home, and IRS Safe Harbor guidelines.
  • Experience with PC based word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Demonstrated supervisory potential.
  • Must have strong marketing and administrative skills and be flexible to work at many different properties.
  • High energy and an ability to work well with others is a must.
  • Able to work a varied schedule including weekends.
  • Must be able to travel overnight as needed.
  • Must be willing to travel for training and meetings.
  • Must have reliable transportation as travel throughout the portfolio will be necessary.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License in the state of residence.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate ability to read and comprehend the English language.
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
