Job summary

iRobot is seeking an Associate Project Manager to bridge the development team and users validating prototypes in real-world environments. You will set up and maintain our test platform, manage all test aspects, and ensure issues are found early to improve robot robustness.

You'll work with Chief Engineers, Program Managers, Product Managers, and software/test/UX leads to translate user feedback into actionable tasks and keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating field testing (Alpha, Beta, etc.).
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with online testing platforms and defect tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop Alpha and Beta program plans and user education materials.
• Recruit and onboard Alpha and Beta users (employees and external users).
• Maintain test project timelines and manage program scope.
• Act as liaison between testers and stakeholders; triage feedback and communicate expectations.
• Review user feedback, debug issues, and escalate critical problems to development.
• Set up test processes in Centercode and integrate feedback with Slack, Jira, or Cloud tools.
• Create Jira tickets and participate in triage meetings; translate engineers' requests for users.
• Define weekly user tasks in collaboration with the product team.
• Ensure user engagement and collect surveys; present findings to stakeholders.
