Job summary

Pinion is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our Land Advisory Team. You will support planning and execution of agricultural drainage, irrigation, earthmoving, and conservation initiatives, coordinating multiple stakeholders to deliver measurable results.

You will partner with Senior Project Managers, manage client relationships, and apply CAD/GIS tools to reporting and delivery. The role offers remote eligibility across the US with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, Agriculture, Agribusiness or related field) required or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of agricultural drainage, irrigation, earthmoving, and conservation projects from concept through completion.
  • Partner with Senior Project Managers to develop project plans, monitor progress, manage risks, and keep projects aligned with client objectives.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between clients, contractors, landowners, conservation partners, and internal teams.
  • Prospect, develop, design, and implement agricultural capital improvement projects with NRCS, nonprofit, and private funds.
  • Identify challenges, recommend practical solutions, and escape issues when appropriate.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, CAD, GIS, and other project management tools to support project delivery and reporting.
  • Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and communicate project updates to stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

What You'll Need for This Position
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel approximately 10%.
Bonus:
  • Experience with NRCS, USDA Conservation Programs, or agricultural conservation initiatives.
  • Experience using GPS data, GIS software, and/or CAD systems.
  • Familiarity with agricultural infrastructure, land improvement, or civil engineering projects.
Compensation:

In some states and municipalities, Pinion is required by law to include a reasonable estimate for range of compensation. When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000 to $100,000.

Remote Eligibility:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at a Pinion office or attendance at offsites, as requested/required by the firm and/or your supervisor.
