Michels Power, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support electrical transmission project delivery in Minnesota.

You will assist in planning, organizing, and monitoring scopes, schedules, and budgets under the supervision of a Project Manager, with hands-on exposure to substation work. The role requires readiness to travel, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office; prior cost-tracking software experience is a plus, and you will grow within a family-owned national leader

• Experience with MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with job cost tracking and estimating software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborate with project teams, field personnel, and customers.
• Willingness to learn and grow within evolving responsibilities and technical challenges.
• Ability to travel and commit to long-term onsite assignments in Minnesota.

Position Summary

As a Associate Project Manager, your key responsibilities will be to support project execution by planning, organizing, and implementing core project management principles. You’ll work closely with project teams and Project Manager to ensure scope, schedule, and budgets are monitored and achieved, while gaining firsthand experience in substation-specific work scopes.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with job cost tracking and estimating software is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
