Job summary

Siemens Mobility seeks an Associate Project Manager to support Project Managers and Operations Managers in Northern California. The role is full-time onsite with light travel (about 10%), based in Fremont or Rancho Cordova.

You will manage materials, billing, change orders, meeting notes, and project documentation to drive successful project delivery. Ideal candidates have experience in project coordination, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Management Assistant to support our Project Managers and Operations Managers in various project-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

As an Associate Project Manager, you will:

Assisting Project Managers:

• Assist Project Managers in all project management tasks, including material handling, billing, booking change orders, document management, project cost adjustments, site access, process maturity.
• Track project progress and update project tracking systems.
• Attend meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes.

Solutions to Service Hand-off:

• Support the maintenance of a branch SharePoint with closeout documents for easy access by the Service team.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Specialists to obtain necessary documents once the project is completed.

Assisting Operations Managers:

• Contribute to improving safety metrics.
• Assist in onboarding processes, including setting up necessary tools and software.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience in project coordination, administration or management or similar roles.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite/M365 Software/
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school.
• Project Management Software (MS Projects) or similar.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures (safety metrics tracking) is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $62,118 - $106,488 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
