Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Project Manager in the United States to provide advanced administrative support for commercial real estate projects, assist in planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement and risk management, and help drive project success. You will work under the supervision of senior project managers and coordinate with multiple internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). MS Project is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of commercial real estate project management, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, closeout, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality, and risk management.
  • Maintain project documentation governance with accurate, timely data, reporting, and documentation.
  • Track progress against budgets and timelines; report variances and develop action plans to stay on schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate with Staffing/HR, patient communications, credentialing, finance, IT, vendors, payor contracting, and business management for Healthcare client exit spaces.
  • Manage smaller projects; track performance and coordinate tasks with third-party resources.
  • Apply project management best practices and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Job Description

As an Associate Project Manager you will have an opportunity to learn and grow alongside our dedicated Project Management team. You will provide advanced administrative support to operations, administration, and management for commercial real estate projects. This will include documentation preparation, issue for commitment, and reporting. You may also be responsible for managing smaller projects with oversight from a more expert Project Manager or leader.

  • Support all phases of commercial real estate project management, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, closeout, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality, and risk management.
  • Maintain strong project documentation governance by ensuring project data, reporting, and documentation are accurate, timely, coordinated, and aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Track project progress against goals, approved budgets, and timelines; report status, identify variances, and develop action plans to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Support Healthcare client business requirements for exiting spaces by leading cross-functional coordination with the business across Staffing/HR, patient communications, credentialing, finance, IT, vendors, payor contracting, and business management.
  • Manage smaller projects as assigned and support third-party project delivery resources by tracking performance, coordinating tasks, and helping drive team accountability.
  • Apply project management best practices, standardized procedures, and sound judgment to solve routine issues and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. Instead of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Working understanding in MS Project is helpful.
  • Previous AEC experience preferred and should include construction project management, owner's rep, or project management experience for commercial projects. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices is preferred.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. and the ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an inquisitive mentality.
