Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to lead electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects and oversee staff. The role includes planning and staffing projects, ensuring profitability, and building customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering, 5 years in electrical trades with 1 year estimating, and travel 15-20%. Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 1 year of electrical estimating experience.
  • 5 years of experience in the electrical trade with 1 year of estimating experience.
  • Travel 15-20%.
  • Work hours typically 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday; may be adjusted to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and staffs electrical construction projects.
  • Ensures projects are completed profitably, on time, and to customer expectations.
  • Identifies and generates new business.
  • Networks, establishes, and maintains customer relationships.
  • Promotes a positive company culture and fosters employee relations.
  • Collaborates with Purchasing and vendors for material coordination.
  • Attends weekly and monthly meetings (Staffing, PM, Sales, etc.).
  • Participates in field performance reviews and merit wage adjustments.
  • Maintains employee relations and supports HR in recruiting and related topics.
  • Reviews outgoing estimates with Estimating Department for accuracy.
  • Visits jobsites to ensure progress and safety; supports crews and contractors.

Associate Project Managers are responsible for generating business, providing general management of electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects, and overseeing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plans, organizes, and staffs electrical construction projects.
  • Ensures that projects are completed profitably, in a timely manner, and according to customer expectations.
  • Identifies and generates new business.
  • Networks, establishes, and maintains customer relationships.
  • Promotes a positive Company Culture by fostering friendly and constructive employee relations.
  • Works with Purchasing Department and vendors to ensure effective material coordination.
  • Attends weekly and monthly meetings (i.e., Staffing Meeting, PM Meeting, Sales Meeting, etc.).
  • Participates in bi-annual field performance review process; conducts effective employee performance reviews in a timely manner; and establishes field merit wage increases.
  • Maintains employee relations.
  • Partners with Human Resources to optimize recruiting and selection, employee relations, and other related topics as it pertains to direct reports.
  • Reviews outgoing estimates with Estimating Department to ensure accuracy.
  • Visits various jobsites and interacts with crew, customers, foreman, and general contractors to ensure proper job progress and to support and encourage safe behavior.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical training
  • Experience: 1 year of electrical estimating experience
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in the electrical trade and one year of electrical estimating experience
  • Travel: 15-20%
  • Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
