Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support Construction Project Managers on PV solar and solar+storage projects across the United States. The role reports to the Director of Project Management.

Responsibilities include project documentation, reporting, scheduling, cost forecasting, contract management, and development of execution processes. Requires 1–4 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction or related field.
• Experience supporting Construction Project Managers with project execution and documentation (required).
• Experience supporting PV solar project tax equity and debt funding transactions (required).
• Proficient with MS Office suite, Quickbase, Box, Trello, and MS Teams.

• Support Project Managers with purchase requisitions and procurement documentation.
• Support creation of document packages for construction contractor request for proposals (RFP's).
• Administer the final assembly of construction contract documents and execution of contract signature pages by AES Clean Energy officers.
• Support Project Managers with EPC contractor document deliverables for contract milestone payment invoicing review.
• Manage internal form and document submissions for creating new construction vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Associate Project Manager

AES Clean Energy is currently seeking an Associate Project Manager to support our Construction Project Managers with PV solar and solar + storage construction projects across the US. The position will report to the Director of Project Management.

Key Requirements:

• 1-4 years related experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction or related field required.
• Experience supporting Construction Project Managers with project execution and documentation (required)
• Experience supporting PV solar project tax equity and debt funding transactions (required)
• Proficient with MS Office suite, Quickbase, Box, Trello, and MS Teams
• Experience in solar and battery storage construction, electric industry, or power plants (preferred).
• Ability to build effective relationships.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $94,000 and $112,625/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes annual bonus. The benefits offered for this position are: medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off (including vacation, sick leave time, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment.
