Job summary

Enertis Applus+ is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our fast-growing renewable energy consultancy team in Alabama. You will support project managers on consulting, engineering and testing projects and contribute to high-quality solar energy solutions.

The role involves solar resource studies with PVsyst, energy production estimates, storage modeling with Homer, and reviewing interconnection agreements, PPAs, EPC, O&M docs, and electrical designs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of photovoltaic design, construction, and/or maintenance.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in solar projects across consulting, engineering, construction or development.
• Excellent understanding of solar electrical design.
• Ability to translate technical and commercial information into clear opinions.
• Experience with PVsyst; other modeling software a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in management of consulting, engineering and testing projects.
• Produce solar resource studies and energy production estimates using PVsyst.
• Model energy storage projects using Homer.
• Analyze and opine on solar project documentation (interconnection, PPA, EPC, O&M, permits).
• Verify and opine on electrical designs of renewable energy projects.
• Evaluate client production data and provide insights.
• Quality assurance and control of own work; manage deadlines.
• Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
