Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Dallas 114 operations in West Texas. This role is an excellent launchpad for future leaders with hands-on experience in project management and estimating.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, punch lists, QA/QC support, RFIs, labor control, takeoffs, schedule support, warranties, and material coordination. A bachelor’s in CM/CE/CS or related experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills through technical job functions.

Responsibilities

The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands‑on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

Job responsibilities include:

• Conducting safety meetings
• Creating and managing punch lists
• Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI's QA/QC program
• Preparing RFI's and submittals
• Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
• Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
• Supporting the implementation of the job schedule
• Coordinating warranties and O&M's
• Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing

This position is safety-sensitive.

Basic Requirements

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience
