Job summary

Molina Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented Project/Program Manager to lead internal business initiatives across cross-functional teams. You will plan schedules, manage budgets, and deliver products from design to completion while coordinating with subject matter experts and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of program or project management experience.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with 3-5 years PM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate risks, applying critical thinking for solutioning.

• Facilitate program governance activities, including status reviews and retrospectives, to support delivery and improvement.
• Maintain project documentation (plans, RAID logs, status decks) according to standards.

Job Summary

Responsible for internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, delivering products through the design process to completion. Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the project from inception through delivery. May engage and oversee the work of external vendors. These positions' primary focus is project/program management, rather than the application of expertise in a specialized functional field of knowledge although they may have technical team members. The pharmacy implementations team covers all LOBs Molina has to offer (Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace) across all US time zones. The team works January 1st and July 4th and subsequent weekends to support project go-lives. Applicants should be willing to work those dates, along with occasional go live weekends that fall outside of these holidays.

Essential Job Duties

• Manage multiple projects and complex cross-functional programs by establishing scope, timelines, deliverables, owners, dependencies, and success metrics aligned with organizational priorities.
• Effectively identify and communicate risk, applying critical thinking for solutioning
• Coordinate collaboration of multiple project teams and cross-functional stakeholders while accurately capturing requirements, actions items, and next steps.
• Monitor program progress and performance; identifies cross-project risks, issues, and interdependencies and leads development and implementation of mitigation strategies.- Track and report on program-level key performance indicators (KPIs); communicates status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
• Facilitate program governance activities, including status reviews, stakeholder meetings, decision forums, and retrospectives, to support delivery and continuous improvement.
• Ensure program documentation is maintained in accordance with established standards and practices. Documentation includes project plans, RAID logs, status decks, etc. to accurately capture project requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Works with team in planning and executing business programs.
• Helps communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze and transform needs and goals into functional requirements. Delivers the appropriate artifacts as needed.
• Works with operational leaders within the business to provide recommendations for process improvements, medical cost savings or revenue enhancements.
• Assists with the creation of Business Requirements Documents, Test Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrix, User Training materials and other related documentations.

Required Education

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience

• 1-3 years of program or project management experience.

Preferred Education/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of program or project management experience.
