Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Physical Therapy
• Current and active Physical Therapy License with the State of Texas
• BLS Certification is required
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to communicate clearly with rehabilitation, administration and physicians
• Computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Bilingual – English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values and communicates them to others
• Directs and manages the delivery of therapy services within budget and performance standards
• Supervises Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Front Office Staff, Billing Staff and Technicians
• Ensures accurate, compliant documentation and coding in the medical records
• Participates in infection control, equipment training, regulatory compliance and safety programs
• Collaborates with the Director and physicians to develop strategic plans for the Therapy service line
• Manages budget inputs and evaluates performance against budget controls
• Drives quality improvement and productivity initiatives across therapy services
