Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking an Associate Program Director to provide oversight of nursing programs, guiding applicants, enrolled students, and faculty under the direction of the Program Director.

The role focuses on student success, curriculum oversight, admissions management, and coordination of clinical site assignments to ensure high-quality nursing education and NCLEX outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Three years of recent clinical experience.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to interpret learning needs of students and match them to clinical placements.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and direction to applicants, enrolled students, faculty, and staff.
• Monitor program completion, retention, and student satisfaction data.
• Oversee admissions and readmission processes for programs.
• Support faculty hiring, training, and mentoring under the Program Director or Dean.
• Review curriculum and coordinate exams and clinical site assignments.
