Job summary

Regis University in Denver invites applications for a 12-month faculty appointment at the rank of assistant or associate professor in the School of Rehabilitative and Health Sciences. The role emphasizes teaching, student advising, scholarship, and service aligned with Regis' mission.

The faculty member will participate in curriculum development, scholarly dissemination, and potential clinical practice opportunities, while engaging in university-wide activities and governance.

Qualifications

• A current physical therapist license in good standing.
• Terminal academic doctoral degree in a related field from an accredited institution preferred OR a clinical doctoral degree.
• Evidence of advanced clinical certification such as ABPTS specialization in Cardiopulmonary or Pediatrics.
• Teaching experience in physical therapy and evidence of scholarship dissemination (peer-reviewed publication or presentation).
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practices in teaching, scholarship and service.

Responsibilities

• Teach in assigned areas of expertise and develop course materials and assessments.
• Advise students and engage in scholarly activities and service at the university level.
• Participate in curriculum evaluation and revision in response to changes in the field.
• Contribute to committee work and engage in professional service.
• Pursue clinical practice opportunities to maintain competency and inform teaching.
