SJS HSHS St. John's Hospital's St. John's College of Nursing is seeking an Associate Professor to lead teaching, foster scholarly activity, and mentor faculty within the college.
You will contribute to curriculum development, student success initiatives, and professional service, aligning with the college's mission and values. Based in Springfield, IL, the full-time role requires a Doctorate and RN/APN credentials; four years post-secondary teaching experience is preferred.
Pay Range: $34.21 - $51.31
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
Carries out those duties necessary for the ongoing implementation of all programs in nursing which is consistent with the mission of the college. Contributes to scholarly endeavors and active leadership within the college. Mentors other faculty and participates in professional organizations.
Doctorate degree required.
Four years post-secondary teaching experience required. Four years teaching at the Assistant Professor rank preferred.
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice is required. Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license required for master’s Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track.
