Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking an Associate Production Planner in Williamsport, PA to balance demand and supply and ensure on-time delivery of parts. The role involves developing 30+ day look-ahead plans, identifying shortage issues, and coordinating with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Operations to realign demand.

You will help balance shop loads and improve equipment utilization for cost-effective production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in Supply Chain or other relevant field strongly preferred.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide long range 30+ day look ahead to Lycoming to identify shortage issues and facilitate workaround planning.
• Identify potential out-of-balance conditions between demand and supply over the planning horizon and flag constraints.
• Coordinate actions with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Operations to realign demand.
• Supply directional input to production and refurbishment cells based on data analysis.
• Coordinate major factory-floor activities that affect scheduling and net capacity.
• Manage shop loads and balance critical resources with supervision for cost-effective production.
