Job summary

Lycoming Engines is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to identify and evaluate demand/supply dynamics using modeling tools to ensure a balanced production plan and on-time delivery of parts.

Responsibilities include providing a 30+ day look ahead to identify shortages, coordinating actions with Procurement, Manufacturing and Operations, and guiding plan adjustments to support refurb and production cells.

Responsibilities

• Provide long range 30+ day look ahead to Lycoming to identify shortage issues and facilitate workaround planning.
• Identify potential out of balance conditions between demand and supply over the planning horizon.
• Coordinate actions with Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations Management to align supply with demand.
• Provide directional input to production/refurbishment cells based on analysis and interface with Planning Manager.
• Coordinate major shop-floor activities that affect scheduling and adjust the plan as needed.
• Manage shop loads and balance critical resources with supervision to maximize equipment utilization.
• Support on-time delivery of product to customers.
• Deliver accurate and timely data for refurb and production cells.
