Job summary

Munters Corporation in Amesbury, MA is seeking an Associate Production/Assembly Worker to assemble structural and mechanical components per blueprints, ensuring proper fitment and function. You will read drawings, prepare parts, and maintain quality with ISO-9001 standards.

We require a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with hand, power, and pneumatic tools, and the ability to learn overhead crane operations. OT may be required, and Lean improvement ideas are encouraged.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Skilled with operating hand, power and pneumatic tools common to the trade.
• Blueprint reading capabilities, understanding of measurements and tolerances.
• Ability to obtain forklift license.
• Ability to learn how to properly handle overhead cranes safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble structural and mechanical components to meet specifications.
• Read and follow drawings, blueprints, BOMs and specifications.
• Assemble parts with proper fitment, alignment and adjustment.
• Maintain ISO-9001 standards and safety/environmental rules.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

Break down assembly drawings and specifications, and plan the successive steps of fabricating and assembling mechanical parts and units.Assemble parts according to print including fitment, alignment and adjustment.
