Job summary

Data Innovations, LLC seeks an Associate Product Owner to capture customer needs and translate them into actionable user stories for engineering teams. You will sign off on requirements, manage the backlog, and ensure acceptance criteria are met across multiple personas.

With experience in Agile environments, you’ll work with stakeholders, participate in sprint planning, and help drive product delivery from concept to release, while ensuring clear documentation and customer validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience related to product management or similar roles (e.g., fielding user stories).
• Experience with Polarion, Jira, or other requirement software systems.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Be the 'Voice of Customer' for internal stakeholders and define deliverables.
• Translate customer requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Clarify requirements for Engineering and manage scope and timeframes.
• Drive backlog prioritization and refinement for upcoming sprints.
• Validate product delivery with customers before release.
• Participate in release and sprint planning and provide documentation to teams.

Skills
