Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of technical experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience.

Job description

We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Associate Product Market Manager to help grow our Concrete Sawing and Drilling line.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of product validation, market expansion, and portfolio management—working closely with R&D, sales teams, and global partners to ensure our products lead the industry.

Location:

  • Preferred: Central U.S. near the Kansas City metro or within two hours of Columbia, SC
  • Chicago, IL, or Dallas, TX, would also be considered
  • Proximity to a major airport required.

What You’ll Do

Product Validation (40%)

  • Partner with R&D to design and execute field validation testing for new products.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, ensuring valuable insights are shared with Sales, Product Management, and R&D.
  • Standardize data collection and reporting to drive consistency in validation efforts.

Product Management (30%)

  • Own and optimize your product portfolio—conduct market research, analyze competitors, and drive strategic product decisions.
  • Collaborate on pricing, inventory management, and product lifecycle planning.
  • Influence the future of Husqvarna products by identifying and advocating for new development opportunities.
  • Serve as the voice of Husqvarna Construction North America in global product discussions.
  • Work cross-functionally to monitor product performance and continuously improve offerings.

Sales & Market Development (20%)

  • Equip sales teams with the knowledge and materials to effectively market our products.
  • Lead or support promotional initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct product training for sales teams, distributors, and direct customers.
  • Provide expert recommendations on product applications to optimize customer success.

Administration (10%)

  • Manage administrative responsibilities in Workday, Concur, and other systems.
  • Oversee expenses related to travel, demo equipment, and more.
  • Maintain accurate product documentation and assist with budgeting.

What You Bring:

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-driven environment.
  • Quick decision-making skills in a fast-paced setting.

Functional Skills & Knowledge:

  • Solid product knowledge, with an understanding of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic knowledge of diamond tool manufacturing and the product management lifecycle.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years of technical experience, ideally in a similar role.
