Job summary

Superior Essex Inc. is seeking an Associate Product Manager to support day-to-day management of optical fiber cable products. You will assist with product information, market research, sales support, reporting, and launches under the Director of Product Management.

This junior role offers hands-on experience and coaching to develop product knowledge and skills. The position focuses on defined tasks initially with increasing responsibility as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Interest in optical fiber cable products and product development.
• Experience or exposure to product management, sales support, or marketing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update product information, descriptions, data sheets, and sales materials.
• Gather customer and sales feedback to document product needs and questions.
• Collect competitor data and prepare comparisons using templates.
• Compile sales, volume, cost, margin, and inventory data for routine reports.
• Assist with pricing and quotation requests by gathering cost data.
• Support new product launches and product changes with checklists and updates.
• Help maintain product roadmaps and project schedules.
• Respond to routine product inquiries and refer complex questions as needed.
• Assist with product presentations, training materials, and sales tools.
• Coordinate samples and documentation; support meetings and events.
• Communicate progress and escalate delays when needed.
