As an Associate Product Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth within the US region, a critical market opportunity for the business. You will lead local project management and support product innovation, delivering work that enables the execution of best-in-class retail strategies. Collaborating closely with local and global teams, you will help bring new products to market while ensuring they align with consumer needs and regional business goals.
In your first three months, you will focus on mastering project management, internal processes, cross-functional collaboration, and operational systems to navigate workflows effectively. Building on this foundation, you will deepen your expertise in category and market insights. By six months, you will take full ownership of all regional EPD (Existing Product Development) initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in crafting strategic recommendations, managing product localization, and driving projects from concept to in-store execution.

What you will be doing:
Project Management & Execution
- Manage project timelines and critical paths, ensuring key milestones are met.
- Maintain project trackers for alignment across all cross-functional teams.
- Oversee the packaging development process, including writing briefs and tracking approvals in Wrike.
- Coordinate Wrike approvals for product and packaging assets, working with creative, compliance, legal, and NPI teams.
- Provide weekly project updates, tracking statuses, approvals, and next steps.
- Develop strategies and execution plans for expanding product listings by optimizing product attributes, color/deco, and claims.
- Own digital product catalogue, including images, codes, packaging and SKU count by category.
Product Development & Category Strategy
- Support the US product strategy by ensuring product quality meets consumer expectations and aligns with brand standards.
- Assist in developing product line plans using consumer insights, market data, trade, sales, and retailer feedback.
- Contribute to new product ideation, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, and regional channel needs.
- Track financial performance, including revenue, margin, and COGS; pull monthly NPD reports, track new product performance (plan vs. actual), and identify key variances.
- Collaborate with Senior Product Manager design and NPI teams to optimize costs and improve margins and the execution of display programs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with regional trade, category, and cross-functional teams to ensure product viability and successful execution of regional product launches, align on sell in support and regional ‘playbooks’.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on key projects and nothing falls through the cracks.
- Assist in preparing presentations and monthly reports.
- Attend all consumption reviews and monthly team meetings, actively representing the consumer perspective and filtering key insights back to the global team.
- Support Senior Product Manager and Trade with execution of all product trainings and line review execution.
Retail & Market Engagement
- Learn and stay up to date on consumer trends with the category, competitor activity, and retailer needs to support US growth.
- Assist Senior Product Manager with SKU rationalization and sales analysis to identify product optimization opportunities.
- Support trade shows, product events, and key sales meetings by preparing and obtaining product materials, product samples, product videos and story boarding.
- Monitor online product reviews, identifying opportunities for influencer outreach and product improvement strategies.
What skills and experiences you’ll need to ace this job:
- Strong organizational and project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to translate data into insights and clear actions while collaborating cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- 1-3 years of experience in product marketing, merchandising, or a related field (internships included).
- A self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset, strong storytelling capabilities, and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with project management tools is a plus.
- Passionate about consumer products, retail, or the parent care industry.
- Motivated to grow within the company, with the potential for expanded responsibilities based on performance and engagement.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with ability to manipulate large data sets to deliver visual and intuitive reporting
- 1-3 years within consumer goods or similar industry
- Knowledge of baby industry a plus
- Comfortable in negotiation and stakeholder management across different teams and levels.
