Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience creating detailed technical user stories, requirements, and use cases.
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, AirFocus, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Interest in AI tools for analysis, documentation, prototyping, or requirements generation.
  • Familiarity with UX concepts, wireframes, user flows, and collaborative design tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support product strategy, priorities, and quarterly objectives for the ATS platform.
  • Refine backlog, write user stories, and assist sprint planning with Engineering.
  • Use AI tools and Figma to sketch concepts, document workflows, and summarize requirements.
  • Define user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria clearly.
  • Coordinate with UX and QA to review designs and validate functionality before release.
  • Assist with launch readiness, release docs, and internal enablement efforts.
  • Engage in customer conversations and stakeholder interviews led by Product leadership.
  • Contribute to product documentation, training materials, and knowledge articles.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability to evolving business needs.

Summary/objective

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) team. This role is ideal for professionals transitioning from Business Analysis into Product Management or for individuals who are early in their product management career and looking to expand their impact. As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a key role in executing product initiatives and delivering enhancements that improve the ATS experience for customers and internal stakeholders. Working alongside Engineering, UX, QA, and Product leadership, you will help transform business needs into valuable product solutions while building your skills in product strategy, roadmap execution, and customer-centric decision-making.

Core Job Duties
  • Partner with the Group Product Manager (GPM) to support product strategy, priorities, and quarterly objectives for the ATS platform.
  • Manage backlog refinement, user story creation, and sprint planning activities in collaboration with Engineering teams.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and Figma to create early concepts, document workflows, and summarize product requirements.
  • Define, document, and enhance user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with UX and QA teams to review designs and validate product functionality before release.
  • Monitor feature development progress and support launch readiness activities, including release documentation and internal enablement.
  • Participate in customer conversations, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews facilitated by Product leadership.
  • Contribute to product documentation, training materials, knowledge articles, and user guides.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to support additional product-related initiatives as business needs evolve.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience creating detailed technical user stories, requirements, and use cases.
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, AirFocus, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience using or a strong interest in AI tools for analysis, documentation, prototyping, or requirements generation.
  • Basic understanding of UX principles and experience collaborating on wireframes, user flows, and designs using Figma or similar platforms.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and PowerPoint communication skills.
  • Understanding of data structures, integrations, system dependencies, and workflow management is preferred.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment while managing shifting priorities and maintaining productivity.
  • Self‑motivated professional with a desire to grow into a more strategic product management role.
  • Collaborative team player who confidently asks questions, shares ideas, and respectfully challenges assumptions when appropriate.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning, feedback, and professional development.
