Job summary

Zaxby’s is hiring an Associate Manager, Restaurant Product to translate vision into actionable roadmaps, coordinating with technology and business stakeholders across the brand. The role focuses on enhancing our restaurant tech stack including Par POS, Olo, Crunchtime, Bite, and more to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technologist roles, ideally including 1-2+ years of Product Management, Project Management, or Tech Administration experience in an enterprise organization.
• Restaurant technology background highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional teams to create, iterate, deploy, and discontinue promotional calendars.
• Define product requirements, roadmaps, and project plans with engineering, operations, marketing, and sales teams.
• Manage hardware/software lifecycle from concept through discontinuation and report health/financial metrics.
• Gather end-user feedback and monitor product performance to drive improvements.
• Administer day-to-day operations of key products, including change control and deployment schedules.
• Act as escalation point for franchisees during tech implementations and ensure adherence to standards.

The Associate Manager, Restaurant Product assists in translating vision into actionable roadmaps, collaborating with technology and business stakeholders across the brand to enhance our tech stack with a focus on driving sales and improving customer satisfaction. This role’s day-to-day involves the administration of and support of the Zaxbys key platforms and systems that make up the Restaurant Technology stack, inclusive of Par POS, Olo, Crunchtime, Bite, etc.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:

Support and act as a technical resource for cross-functional teams to create, iterate, deploy, and discontinue promotional calendars

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, consisting of engineering, quality, operations, marketing, services and sales, to define product requirements, develop product roadmaps, and execute project plans

Drive the product lifecycle management of hardware/software from concept through discontinuation while reporting on health and financial aspects of your solution

Drive continuous product improvement by gathering and analyzing end-user feedback and monitoring product performance to ensure continued success of products

Administer the day-to-day operations of all key products, inclusive of management of change control, deployment schedules

Act as an escalation point and provide guidance and support to franchisees in the implementation and integration of technology systems, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and guidelines; Regularly communicate to the organization field regarding key technologies, functional improvements, and process best practices

Operate as an escalated support resource for issues related to menu and other configurations for the product portfolio

KEY COMPETENCIES

Know-how to take very broad challenges or opportunities and turn them into actionable projects with clear milestones and goals, with minimal guidance

Proven track record of cross collaboration to launch innovative and creative solutions in an enterprise organization

Expert partnership management, product management, product marketing, organization, and presentation skills

Analytically driven and comfortable in various data platforms to answer questions and solve problems

Lead and develop a team of leaders to continue to scale the business as needs arise

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field Experience: 3+ years in technologist roles, ideally including 1-2+ years of Product Management, Project Management, or Tech Administration experience in an enterprise organization; restaurant technology background highly preferred
