Position Available - Associate Product Manager

Job Purpose Summary

The Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing customer and product requirements, defining the product vision, and collaborating with cross-functional teams—including engineering, sales, marketing, and support—to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are achieved. The role emphasizes leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and automation where appropriate to enhance product functionality, user experience, and operational efficiency. The Associate Product Manager ensures the product aligns with the company’s strategic goals and continuously evolves to meet customer needs in an AI-driven ecosystem.

  • Define, prioritize, and manage the product roadmap to align customer needs with the company’s vision and strategic goals.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in the product and industry over time.
  • Maintain a long-term product vision while guiding day-to-day efforts to achieve business objectives.
  • Partner with other product team members and scrum teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope.
  • Support product launches through pilot programs, early customer adoption, and cross-functional enablement with sales and operations teams.
  • Promote consistency and quality in product requirements and design by establishing and advocating for product management best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and third-party vendors to define and validate business requirements.
  • Participate in translating business needs into functional requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to explore and implement AI tools and frameworks across the product lifecycle—from prototyping and testing to deployment and optimization.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred 2 years’ experience as a Product Owner /BA for API integrations
  • Proven track record of defining and delivering successful products.
  • 1+ years of experience in a job in the shipping and logistics software market is preferred
  • Familiarity with the application of AI/ML in software products, including understanding model-driven features, automation, or analytics.
  • Experience working with AI tools during product development (e.g., for prototyping, user behavior analysis, content generation, or testing).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical background, with experience in SaaS cloud based solutions
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Examples of past successful product launches and outcomes are highly desirable.

Compensation

  • $60k-125K
