Job Description
As an Associate Product Manager, you'll build the foundation of your product management career by supporting discovery, execution, and cross-functional coordination within a narrowly defined area of our digital product portfolio. Working closely with more senior product leaders, you'll learn to connect Guest needs, data, and business context to day-to-day priorities, while developing the judgment, craft, and ownership mindset that will carry you through your career in product management.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the team's product vision, connecting Guest needs, data, and business context to day-to-day priorities with guidance from senior product leaders.
- Support roadmap planning by gathering inputs and helping translate priorities into clear, actionable requirements.
- Help clarify well-defined problems and gather the inputs needed to support root-cause investigation.
- Execute assigned work reliably, following through on commitments and escalating early when you need support.
- Maintain a high bar for quality and attention to detail across your assigned scope.
- Use Guest feedback and basic data and metrics to support decisions and inform iteration.
- Collaborate openly with immediate cross-functional partners across engineering, design, and analytics to keep work moving.
- Communicate clearly with your team, asking clarifying questions and exchanging straightforward information.
- Stay curious about industry trends and emerging technology relevant to your product area, and share what you learn with the team.
- Ramp quickly on new tools, products, and processes, applying what you learn directly to your work.
- Partner day-to-day with engineering, design, marketing, and business partners, learning to translate between technical and non-technical teams to keep work moving.
- Support product development across iOS and Android apps, mobile web, and desktop surfaces, working directly with engineers to understand how features are built and delivered.
Basic Qualifications
- 0–2+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related digital/eCommerce field (internship experience considered)
- Foundational understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to support decisions and assumptions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated curiosity, ownership, and eagerness to learn in a fast-moving, matrixed organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a digital, eCommerce, or consumer products environment
- Exposure to user story writing, backlog grooming, or sprint planning
- Education or experience in a technical discipline (computer science, software engineering, decision science, AI/ML)
- Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Google Analytics, Tableau)
- Exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud or other eCommerce platforms
