Job summary

TravisMathew is seeking an Associate Product Line Manager in Huntington Beach, CA to drive product line strategy across select categories and own all deliverables, working with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy in systems like PLM and SAP.

You will analyze sales, pricing, and competitor data, manage lifecycle, and present sku plans to executives while coordinating GTM activities and cross-functional proofing for catalogs and sales tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising or product management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in merchandising or product line management.

Responsibilities

• Provide product line support for essential and seasonal lines including pricing, analyzing sales, forecast, and competitor data, PLM system maintenance, building sku plans, supporting lifecycle and franchise management.
• Support product lifecycle including release and retirement
• Manage product timelines to ensure deliverables are met and information is communicated to applicable teams
• Maintain system / tools to ensure product information is accurate and up to date
• Present product line strategy and sku plans to cross-functional and executive teams
• Support product line proofing (i.e., catalogs, components, sales tools, etc.)
• Support the product preparation process for cross-functional teams and key accounts / retailers
• Support the coordination of special make-up (SMU) opportunities with cross-functional teams
• Support industry and competitive analysis
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of category management methodologies, best practices, and processes
• Support the GTM process and build presentations for given categories to be presented in these meetings

The Associate Product Line Manager is responsible for providing product line support to drive product and strategic initiatives, both short and long term. This individual will take ownership of product line strategy in select categories and support others. They also serve as the communication liaison and manage all product deliverables and timelines. Additionally, the Associate Product Line Manager is responsible for ensuring all product data is accurate and up to date in the applicable systems / tools.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Merchandising or Product Management or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
