Job summary

Floe Inc in the NY metro area is hiring an Associate Product Engineer to drive the full product lifecycle from design to field deployment. This is a hands-on role focusing on prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement, with exposure to real-world system performance and occasional manufacturing support.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, hands-on problem-solving skills, and is eager to work in a fast-paced startup environment in NY/NJ/CT. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 0–3 years engineering experience, internships welcome.
• Proven ability to build, troubleshoot, and work with physical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support design, prototyping, and R&D with engineering leadership.
• Create and modify CAD models and drawings.
• Build and test prototypes and validation units.
• Plan and execute tests to validate performance and reliability.
• Assist with field deployment and manufacturing support.
• Develop SOPs and documentation.
• Collaborate across teams to drive design improvements.
• Travel occasionally to deployment sites; up to 50 lbs lift.
