Job summary

Maybell Quantum Industries is seeking an Associate Product Engineer to support cryogenic systems on the production floor while collaborating with Product Managers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain. This role blends hands-on hardware work with cross‑functional teamwork in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience, internships or project work allowed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on hardware interest.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, troubleshoot, and validate cryogenic pre-production systems and subassemblies.
• Create assembly documentation, work instructions, and records; train technicians.
• Support engineering changes, documentation updates, and product releases.
• Investigate issues to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Assist Product Managers and Engineers in development and sustaining activities.
• Analyze production/test data to identify opportunities for quality and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
• Participate in prototype builds, validation, and new product introduction.
• Drive continuous improvement for quality, manufacturability, and efficiency.
• Develop technical ownership of assigned assemblies over time.
