Position Summary

Lead and provide engineering support for product design and development line extensions, managing aggressive time-to-market requirements and integrating a customer‑centric approach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with Planning and Supply Chain to find alternate solutions to materials to maintain on time delivery
• Liase with Quality for FAS review when needed for alternates or new items
• Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing Engineering for pilot jobs during implementation of new product changes
• Assist Product Support in provide engineering solutions to customer field issues
• Facilitiate with Customer Service team on special project requirements to find solutions for the customer
• Support production issues related to engineering design
• Handle non-conforming material review requests from Supply Chain and Quality
• Review vendor change requests and update design data when appropriate
• Review supplier identified issues and determine resolution of materials
• Implement product improvements across released product families
• Create new finished good part numbers for customer orders
• Use Syteline to manage BOM changes related to product improvements and material availability
• Work within SolidWorks to make design and drawing updates when necessary

Required Education and Experience

• Associate degree (technical) with mechanical/electrical experience
• 1+ years of experience in computer software (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Familiar with Bills of Materials.
• Basic experience with 2D, 3D, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent)
• Basic ERP software experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited university
• Highly proficient with 2D, 3D, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent)
• Experience with Syteline ERP software
• Smoke free workplace.
