About the Role

We are seeking an Associate UX Designer to join the rapidly growing and evolving UX team at Anywhere Real Estate. You will support the design team in creating intuitive, user-centered experiences for web and mobile platforms, working closely with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to develop your UX skills and contribute to innovative digital experiences.

Responsibilities

1. User Research Support: Assist in conducting user research, synthesizing findings, and analyzing data to inform design decisions.
2. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes, iterating based on feedback and testing.
3. UI Design: Work within existing design systems to develop visually appealing and consistent interfaces, aligning with brand and accessibility standards.
4. Collaboration & Communication: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure feasible and aligned design implementation, and clearly present ideas and rationale.
5. Usability Testing & Iteration: Participate in testing sessions, gather feedback, and refine designs accordingly.
6. Documentation & Design Systems: Maintain design documentation and contribute to the development of design patterns and style guides.
7. Continuous Learning & Growth: Stay updated on UX best practices, seek feedback, and pursue professional development.

Qualifications

1. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience; internship, academic projects, or coursework in UX or product design; a strong portfolio is highly valued.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD; understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability best practices; familiarity with design systems and UI patterns.
3. Collaboration & Communication Skills: Ability to work with teams, present ideas clearly, and incorporate feedback effectively; enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving.
4. Bonus Skills: Knowledge of user research methods, usability testing, and familiarity with HTML, CSS, front-end concepts; interest or experience in real estate industry digital products.
