Job summary

Datadog's Associate Designer Program (ADP) is a 12-month rotational program designed to accelerate early-career designers. You’ll move through three design rotations, tackling high-impact challenges across our product ecosystem, while learning from mentors who push your craft and strategic thinking.

You’ll collaborate with product managers and engineers, design, test, and ship concepts, and build a diverse portfolio within a fast-moving, global environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing/holding a degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating human-centered design with interaction and visual design skills.
• Ability to translate ideas into prototypes and code.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through 3 product design teams over 12 months to build skills across problem spaces.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand customer needs and success criteria.
• Design, test, and ship concepts through prototypes into production.
• Document and present designs to stakeholders to gain buy-in.
• Work with engineers to understand technical constraints and opportunities.
