Job summary

NBCUniversal Commerce Studios is seeking an Associate Producer to support production for commerce content across TODAY and NBC News. The AP handles pre-production to scripting, oversees edits, and works on tape and live segments. Occasional Saturdays in studio required.

The role involves coordinating shoots, researching products, and collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver shoppable content with editorial integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience creating content.
• 4-year college degree in journalism, marketing/business, or communications with an interest in storytelling or equivalent experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, Avid, Slack, and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for shoots and live commerce content for NBC News brands.
• Conduct pre-interviews, scout locations, script tape and live segments and ensure edit elements are shot.
• Work with graphic artists and editors to bring segments to air and collaborate across NBCU teams.
