The Boeing Company, The Boeing Global Services Organization (BGS), in Hazelwood, MO, is seeking an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to support supplier management activities for build-to-print spares in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage supplier purchase orders, contracts, and RFPs, engage with stakeholders, and help drive continuous improvement while learning new skills and growing in the Supply Chain organization.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Strategic Sourcing Experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment for a high volume of supplier purchase orders/contracts
  • Oversee source selection for parts and services
  • Manage contractual documents and binding agreements including preparing, negotiating, executing, and documenting RFPs, supplier contracts, and purchase orders
  • Support Proposal Board activity including gathering supplier cost and lead time inputs to support customer proposals, RFIs, and business development opportunities
  • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities to ensure delivery, quality, and financial stability
  • Manage supplier performance, interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditions in support of Government Prime / Commercial contracts
  • Ability to problem solve and interact with suppliers in meeting contract and engineering requirements and/or proposals
  • Communicate and engage with stakeholders to ensure that program and customer strategies are integrated into supplier source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies
  • Communicate across functions, programs, and suppliers to effectively manage risks, issues and opportunities
  • Lead special projects to execute continuous improvement initiatives

The Boeing Company The Boeing Global Services Organization (BGS) has an opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join the Supplier Management team located in Hazelwood, MO. The successful candidate will support procurement activities for build - to - print spares in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supply Chain organization. This position acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

Position Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment for a high volume of supplier purchase orders/contracts

  • Support Proposal Board activity including gathering supplier cost and lead time inputs to support customer proposals, Requests for Information (RFI), and business development opportunities
  • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities to ensure delivery, quality, and financial stability
  • Manage supplier performance, interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditions in support of Government Prime / Commercial contracts
  • Ability to problem solve and interact with suppliers in meeting contract and engineering requirements and/or proposals
  • Communicate and engage with stakeholders to ensure that program and customer strategies are integrated into supplier source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 1+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Strategic Sourcing Experience with ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • NWP experience
