The role focuses on leading control buyouts with equity check sizes ranging from USD 300m to USD 800m+, working across the consumer and industrial verticals.The Associate will be involved in all aspects of the investment life cycle, including thematic research, origination, execution, structuring, pricing and negotiation of new private equity investments, as well as monitoring portfolio company performance and supporting monetization at exit.Key responsibilities include leading investment diligence and underwriting; preparing industry and competitive research; building detailed business-unit-based financial models including optimal capital structure, purchase price adjustments and sensitivities; drafting investment committee reports while supervising external resources; interacting with third-party due diligence partners (tax, legal, technical, insurance, environmental); assisting in negotiating debt facilities and supporting the Deal Captain on purchase agreements and management incentive compensation; identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities such as acquisitions, divestitures or new verticals; and supporting the investment exit process.Partners Group offers a professional, international working environment with on-the-job training and mentorship, competitive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401k with company match, 25 vacation days plus 12 holidays annually, a one-month paid sabbatical after every five years of service, and a base salary range of $155,000-$175,000 plus performance-based annual incentives.Apply for this Position
