You will lead plumbing design, prepare drawings and calculations, manage staff, and ensure code compliance (IPC/UPC/IBC). The role includes client service, construction administration, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or relevant work experience equivalent to a degree.
• 6+ years in MEP plumbing design/consulting.
• Team leadership/management experience.
• Project management experience in the MEP space.
• Working knowledge of IPC/UPC and IBC standards.
• Complete understanding of building codes.
• Thorough design system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for plumbing system selection, engineering & design.
• Preparation of plumbing drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications, and calculations.
• Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Providing management and oversight of plumbing design support staff.
• Providing construction administration & site observations related to your projects.
• Delivering exemplary service and support to team members and clients.
• Supporting overall project management to our MEP team leaders.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Bring:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience equivalent to a degree.
• 6+ years’ experience in MEP plumbing design/consulting
• Team leadership/management experience
• Project management experience in the MEP space
• Working knowledge of IPC/UPC and IBC standards
• Complete understanding of building codes
• Thorough design system knowledge

Preferred

• A Professional Engineering License or CPD Certification
• LEED Accreditation
• Working Autodesk REVIT knowledge
