Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. seeks a SAP CPQ Solution Architect to lead end-to-end global CPQ design and delivery. You will own CPQ architecture across product configuration, pricing, quoting, BOM, and approvals, with strong scripting in IronPython and integrations to SAP ERP/S/4HANA, CRM, and CPI/APIs.

Qualifications

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience: 9+ years
• Must have experience as a SAP CPQ Solution Architect / CPQ Technical Architect
• Should have exposure to customer-facing CPQ authority leading global CPQ design & delivery
• Should be able to lead end-to-end global SAP CPQ solution architecture for enterprise rollouts.
• Should have strong SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer) background.
• Should be able to own CPQ design across product configuration, pricing, quoting, BOM, approvals.
• Should be able to drive advanced CPQ scripting standards using IronPython.
• Should be able to architect integrations with SAP ERP/S/4HANA, CRM, Commerce, CPI/APIs.
• Must ensure replication of pricing/config logic across interconnected systems.
• Should be able to serve as the primary customer-facing CPQ expert in workshops and governance.
• Should be able to provide technical credibility to compete with specialist CPQ partners.
• Mentor and upskill CPQ consultants and technical developers in the team.
• Should havemultiple SAP CPQ rollouts, deep Quote-to-Cash expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project
• Define scalable architecture for complex rule engines and guided selling.
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
