Job summary

Federated Hermes, Inc. is seeking an Associate Application Developer to join our Global Technology Office in Warrendale, PA. This hybrid role centers on building Power Platform-based business apps and automations.

You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions, follow Agile SDLC practices, and continuously optimize performance. Ideal candidates have Power Platform experience and a collaborative mindset for innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a comparable technical field, or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Platform to meet evolving business needs with guidance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes and opportunities for workflow automation.
Translate requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions with performance and governance in mind.
Develop using Agile methods, delivering proof-of-concept apps and workflows with feedback loops.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Adhere to SDLC standards including coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and incident management.
Coordinate and support UAT to validate solutions against business requirements.
Stay current with Power Platform capabilities and suggest improvements.
