Job summary

Moneta is seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager in Clayton, MO to manage accounts in Eclipse, balance model portfolios, and trade daily. You will ensure cash balances align with goals and support Advisors and APMs with onboarding trades and analyses.

Responsibilities include monitoring $1.1B+ portfolios, conducting audits, and processing tax loss harvesting while maintaining strong communication with Partners and Advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years of related work experience with investment platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolios totaling $1.1+ billion for cash needs and rebalancing.
• Provide guidance on onboarding trades, analyses, and portfolio management.

• Conduct regular audits for drift and improvements.
• Process tax loss harvesting opportunities.
• Manage withdrawals and change requests in workflows.
• Deliver ongoing guidance and technical support to advisors and APMs.

Job description

Working closely with the entire Investments team, this role is responsible for the day-to- day management and maintenance of accounts in our turnkey asset management platform Eclipse. With your hands in every piece of Eclipse, this Associate Portfolio Manager will be balancing accounts, trading day-to-day, managing appropriate cash balances, and assuring our model portfolios stay in balance with their goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive knowledge of all investment strategies and models under Centralized Portfolio Management (CPM), including model construction and year-round change processing
• Execute complete onboarding process for portfolios at all levels, collaborating with Partner Teams to enter and analyze investment portfolio proposal data
• Monitor dedicated portfolios totaling $1.1+ billion for cash needs, rebalancing requirements, and non-model positions
• Provide guidance to Advisors and Associate Portfolio Managers on onboarding trades, trade analyses, and existing portfolio management
• Effectively communicate with Partners and Advisors to explain trades, reports, and analytics across all portfolio activities
• Conduct regular portfolio audits to monitor for drift and identify improvement opportunities
• Process tax loss harvesting opportunities within assigned portfolio responsibilities
• Workflow Management: Process withdrawal requests and change requests through proprietary workflow systems
• Deliver ongoing guidance and technical support to advisors and APMs on all aspects of portfolio management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field
• 3+ years of related work experience, including work with Bloomberg, Morningstar, Schwab/TDAmeritrade, or Fidelity platforms
• Experience working with Orion/Eclipse preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
