Job summary

Cedar Brook Property seeks an Associate Project Manager to support residential renovation projects from planning to completion. You will work under Project Managers, coordinating scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, documentation, quality control, and field operations on local Kansas City properties.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of construction coordination experience, exposure to residential construction, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM/Engineering/Business or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Experience in residential renovations or construction coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in coordinating residential renovation projects from planning through completion.
• Support pre-purchase property inspections and scope development.
• Assist with scheduling contractors, vendors, inspections, and deliveries to maintain timelines.
• Track project progress and provide updates to Project Managers.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, budgets, schedules, and job files.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure work is completed.
• Conduct routine site visits to document progress.
• Monitor milestones and elevate scheduling or budget concerns to Project Manager.
• Support permit, inspection, and compliance activities as needed.
• Help ensure job sites remain organized and compliant with safety expectations.
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
