Qualifications

• Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Architecture or a related field and two years of responsible planning experience.
• Experience with zoning, subdivisions, and site plans.
• Knowledge of GIS and data analysis for land use planning.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and present findings to boards and the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional planning work related to planning and zoning.
• Interpret and apply county regulations and codes.
• Assist with review of zoning and subdivision applications for compliance.
• Develop and update GIS databases and statistical data.
• Prepare written and graphic reports on planning matters and the Comprehensive Master Plan.
• Present information at public meetings and to various boards.
