UC Irvine Health is seeking a Staff Physician to deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department at UCI Health‑Orange. The role includes resident attending coverage when residents are present, and adherence to compliance, training, and documentation standards.
The candidate must obtain UCI medical staff privileges, hold a California Medical License or be eligible, and maintain an active DEA certification to ensure proper credentialing and ongoing regulatory compliance.

The Staff Physician will primarily provide services at the Emergency Department at UCI Health‑Orange. Staff Physician will provide both patient care and resident attending coverage when residents are present. The Staff Physician is expected to comply with all compliance standards, complete all required trainings, and follow proper documentation processes to meet the standards of the Compliance Office and Medicare regulations.
