The San Francisco Foundation is seeking an Associate, Philanthropy and Gift Planning Operations to support core operational functions, ensure data integrity, and enable donor engagement through reporting and systems support.
You will work with internal teams, leadership, vendors, and consultants to maintain donor records, produce reports, and support gift processing while advancing data systems across the Philanthropy & Gift Planning department.

The Associate, Philanthropy & Gift Planning Operations supports core operational functions of the Philanthropy & Gift Planning (PGP) department, ensuring accurate donor data, timely gift processing, and effective use of systems such as Salesforce in partnership with internal teams, leadership, vendors, and consultants. This role plays a critical part in maintaining data integrity, supporting donor engagement processes, and enabling efficient department operations through reporting, list generation, and systems support.
The role sits within the Philanthropy and Gift Planning department.

Position Pay Rate: $4887.50 per pay period
This position follows a long-term hybrid work model. Dedicated to its employee health and safety, The Foundation will continue to make decisions in accordance with San Francisco County and California mandates. Employees must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area and work in the office a minimum of one day per week.
This role is primarily sedentary and performed in a hybrid or remote office environment. It requires prolonged computer use, virtual communication, and occasional light lifting (up to 10 lbs.).
