Job summary

UF Health in Jacksonville seeks a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to provide direct patient care under RN supervision during a 7:00pm–7:00am, 36-hour week schedule. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment and support service excellence to boost patient and family satisfaction.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification, plus hospital IT system familiarity and basic medical terminology. Experience is less than one year; weekend coverage is required.

The PCA assists in delivering safe, effective, patient-centered care while ensuring a clean, orderly environment and demonstrating service excellence behaviors to promote patient and family satisfaction.
