Job summary

Creekside Behavioral Health in Knoxville, TN, seeks an Associate Therapist - Outpatient to provide direct clinical services under supervision within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, individual/family/group therapy, education, and discharge planning, with weekly supervision to meet state standards. The role is onsite, offering case management and collaboration across treatment planning conferences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social services or mental health services or closely related field.
• No professional work experience required.
• Weekly supervision oversight for all areas of clinical training practice in alignment with state standards.

Responsibilities

• Under clinical supervision, participates in patient treatment planning and treatment plan progress reviews.
• Under supervision, conducts group, individual or family sessions and documents as required.
• Provides patient and family education relative to psychiatric and/or substance use problems.
• Conducts psychosocial assessments and develops plan of care with patient involvement.
• Ensures documentation regarding patient care, treatment and incidents is completed timely and co-signed by supervisor.
• Provides crisis intervention to patients as needed and notifies treatment team of changes.
• Completes post-hospitalization aftercare documentation.
• Performs case management duties to ensure individualized quality care.
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning conferences.
